Returns and Exchanges– for electric bikes and accessories

If you need to cancel the order or make an exchange under the distance selling regulations you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item after which you will have a further 14 days to return the item. To do so please download the return form, complete it and include with the returned item. It couldn't be easier. We will process your exchange/refund as soon as we receive and open your return.

Items must be returned to the store you bought it from or your nearest store if purchased online. Shipping costs are paid by the buyer and are non refundable. If shipping costs are subsidised the actual shipping costs incurred will be recovered from the original payment before any refund is issued. Any charges incurred by us will be recouped before a final eachange or refund value is settled.

Refunds can only be made to the original card used for payment and if not known or available then we can at best offer a store credit to be used against future purchases.

Items must be returned in their original condition complete with all packaging, manuals, labels etc.

Custom, customised and special orders cannot be cancelled or returned. Riese & Muller eBikes are always configured to customer specifications and are therefore special orders and sales are final.

Used eBike Returns - We don't want you to be stuck with a bike you don't feel is right and so we accept returns for used bikes up to 28 days after purchase on the following conditions: 1. The condition is like new 2. All components and component packaging are present 3. Our actual costs (not the subsidised amount you may have paid) for shipping, customisations and £10/mile of use will be charged for (minimum £100) along with a £50 restocking fee. 4. Used eBikes can only be exchanged and not refunded and this is entirely at our discretion.

Faulty Items
Faults - If your order arrives damaged or developes a fault we will use our wealth of experience as the UKs' very first ebike specialist to solve the issue quickly for you. Based on our support call history less than 16% of cases have required a visit to one of our stores. You can return a faulty item for a full refund within 30 days after which we reserve the right to have the opportunity to repair any faults. If you need any assistance we are here to help (even out of hours) simply contact, your nearest store or use our contact form.

Opened eBike Parts

We cannot accept returned eBike parts if the packaging has been opened. This is because components connected to faulty bikes may be damaged. To avoid disappointment we have a no nonsense professional diagnosis service available at all of our stores for a very reasonable set fee.

Fitting the Load 60 dog mat

Prerequisite

− The outer hook-and-loop fastener (1.1) and centre hook-and-loop fastener (1.2) are both open.
1. Position the dog mat (1) on the floor panel (8). Make sure that segments A, B and C are positioned correctly.
2. Thread the outer hook-and-loop fastener (1.1) on the right and left between the rear wall (6) and side walls (7).
3. Thread the centre hook-and-loop fastener (1.2) on the right and left between the floor panel (8) and frame (9).


NOTE

Note the outer hook-and-loop fastener guide (1.1) and centre hook-and-loop guide (1.2).

4. Bring the outer hook-and-loop fastener (1.1) together on the outside of the rear wall (6) behind the frame
tube (10) and battery (11), tension it, and fasten the ends together.



5. Bring the centre hook-and-loop fastener (1.2) together along the floor panel (8) behind the cable guide (12), tension it, and fasten the ends together.


Fitting the Load 75 dog mat

The Load 75 features a longer floor panel than the Load 60. The dog mat therefore lies completely on the floor panel. Both hook-and-loop fasteners are passed under the floor panel and fastened together.

Prerequisite

− The outer hook-and-loop fastener (1.1) and centre hook-and-loop fastener (1.2) are both open.

1. Position the dog mat (1) on the floor panel (8). Make sure that section C is pointing the right way.
2. Thread the outer hook-and-loop fastener (1.1) and the centre hook-and-loop faster (1.2) on the right and left between the floor panel (8) and frame (9).



3. Bring the outer hook-and-loop fastener (1.1) together with the centre hook-and-loop fastener (1.2) along the floor panel (8) behind the cable guide (12), tension it, and fasten the ends together.


Fitting the strap with hook and lashing eyelet

The side screw connections on the side walls are possible fastening points (13).

Load 75



1. Select the fastening point (13) and remove the fastener at the selected fastening point (13). (continued on the next page)

2. Fasten the lashing eyelet (3) to the selected fastening point with fasteners (4) and (5).



3. Thread the strap with hook (2) into the lashing eyelet (3), pull it through, thread it through the clasp (2.1), and tighten to the required length.
