Riese & Müller e-bikes

Like all great stories, Riese & Müller grew from a friendship. Markus Riese and Heiko Müller met at university while studying mechanical engineering together at the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany in the late 1980s. They spent their free time working Heikos's parent's garage, tinkering with bicycles.

In 1992 they created a full suspension folding bike called the Birdy, winning a Hesse Innovation prize. The Birdy sold throughout Germany, Japan and the USA. Inspired by the boom in mountain biking popularity, Reise and Muller adopted the slogan "Cushioned Cycling", believing that a comfortable riding experience is only possible with a full-suspension. A whole raft of cycling innovations where made.

Specialising in bespoke made to order high-quality electric bikes and electric cargo bikes. The company sells a full line of high-speed road bikes, high-quality mountain bikes, commuter, cargo, and utility bikes. Reise and Muller are admired worldwide for their design and engineering quality.
